Lee Stickle is the Director of the TASN Autism and Tertiary Behavior Support Project. Lee graduated from Southern Illinois University with degrees in Special Education, and Therapeutic Recreation and completed her Masters in Special Education with an emphasis in Autism and Asperger Syndrome at the University of Kansas. Lee has work in the field of special education for more than 30 years and in the area of ASD and challenging behavior for more than 20 of those years. Lee was honored in 2010 with three awards: the Autism Society’s Professional of the Year; the Kansas Association of Special Education Administrators Professional of the Year; and the Kansas Council of Exceptional Children’s Special Educator of the Year. Lee’s passion is working with children, educators and families!
