Kaye Parham, Masters Degree in Special Education/Early Childhood, Georgia Network of Education and Therapeutic Services at Horizon Academy, Lowndes County School System, Valdosta, Georgia

Kaye Parham has been in education for 32 years.  She graduated from Valdosta State University with a degree in Special Education with a master's degree in Special Education/Early Childhood.  She began her career as a pre-school special education teacher for 5 years.  She then switched to working with students with severe and profound disabilities for an additonal 5 years.  Ms. Parham began teaching at Horizon Academy, Georgia Network of Educational and Therapeutic Services, as a teacher of low functioning students with autism.  She currently teaches adolescents with autism at Horizon Academy.  Ms. Parham has presented at the 2012 Georgia Council of Exceptional Children conference and the 2012 Institute Designed for Educating All Students conference.
