Dr. JoAnne Cascia is a licensed speech-language pathologist and assistant Professor at Monmouth University in West Long Branch,NJ. Dr. Cascia has worked as a speech-lanaguage pathologist in both public schools and private, special needs schools. She owned and operated her own speech-language pathology practice where she provided individual and group therapy to the pediatric population, primarily children on the autism spectrum. Dr. Cascia has worked in academia since 2007 as an adjunct professor and clinical supervisor in speech-language pathology. She recently joined the faculty of Monmouth University as an assistant professor in the upcoming speech-language pathology graduate program. Dr. Cascia recieved a BA in Speech and Hearing, an MA in Speech Pathology, and an Ed.D in Speech-Langauge Pathology. She currently holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech-language Pathology.
