Beth Hampshire, MT-BC, NMT Fellow, Music Therapy Services of Greater Atlanta, Roswell, Georgia

Beth received her music therapy degree from Eastern Michigan University and became board certified in 1998.  Receiving her neurologic certification from Colorado State University in 2001 and fellowship in 2006, she is currently completing her graduate degree at CSU.  As founder, owner, and operator of MTS of GA, Beth specializes in autism and other neurologic conditions.   She is also a registered Music Together® teacher, a credentialed early interventionist and teaches both piano and guitar.

In addition to providing services in her Roswell clinic, she works with the P.E.O.T.S.I. Summer Camp, Cottages on Mountain Creek and Spectrum Drama Club.  Beth partnered with Shenanigans! to bring a performing arts camp to the area in 2012.  She also brings music therapy to wellness retreats for the staff at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.  The Decatur City Schools contracted Beth as an artist in residence and she continues to provide consultative services throughout metro Atlanta.  Beth also trains teachers, therapists and parents throughout the Southeast in ways to use music-making for success in their environments.  Bring the family out for her quarterly music-making sessions at the Northpoint and Perimeter Barnes and Noble stores!

Beth is a regular presenter at professional conferences, both locally and nationally.  She currently serves as a member of the City of Roswell Inclusion Task Force.  Beth has recently served on the national reimbursement committee with AMTA (American Music Therapy Association) and the continuing education committee of CBMT (Certification Board for Music Therapists).
